If a family member, spouse or partner has complained about your snoring, you may be suffering from obstructive sleep apnea without knowing it.
The Mid Rogue Imaging Center offers In-Home Sleep Studies for the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea. Our sleep study system is designed to be simple for you to use in the comfort of your own home. No lengthy sleep lab stay-overs, no trying to sleep with dozens of wires attached to your scalp and body.
Obstructive sleep apnea, which causes your airway to collapse or become blocked during sleep, results in short pauses in your breathing pattern or shallow breathing. If left untreated, it can result in inadequate sleep and daytime drowsiness. Generally your doctor can’t diagnose the condition during an office visit.
Two-night sleep study
Our sleep lab system consists of a single nasal cannula attached to a small sensor that you wear on your forehead for two nights of recording. After your second night, simply return the system to our office where we will download it to be reviewed by a physician certified in sleep disorders medicine.
Your sleep study report is usually reported to the physician’s office within three working days and the results may be used to set up a CPAP system for initial use, or for adjustments to continuing CPAP therapy.
Our sleep studies cost 66% less than lab-based examinations, and in-home sleep studies are covered by most major insurance companies.
