At Mid Rogue Imaging Center, we perform all CT scanning on the General Electric LightSpeed Pro 16 CT scanner—a 24 detector row scanner capable of scanning at 40 slices per second. Scanning an average sized patient from the neck through the pelvis takes under 10 seconds.
This scanner utilizes the same detector array, generator and tube as the 64 and 128 slice CT scanners. This allows us to achieve the same x, y, and z plane resolution as 64 or 128 slice machines, but at a fraction of the cost and radiation exposure to the patient.
Mid Rogue Imaging Center can perform CT scanning on any body part including:
- Head
- Neck
- Chest
- Abdomen
- Pelvis
- Bone and joints
CT guided biopsies and myelography are the only CT studies we can’t perform, owing to the fact we do not have the necessary observation rooms and nursing staff on site.
Mid Rogue Imaging Center can perform CT Angiography on every region of the body to include:
- Brain (Circle of Willis)
- Carotid Arteries
- 4 Vessel – Arch
- Thoracic Aorta
- Pulmonary Arteries
- Abdominal Aorta (and branch vessels)
- Renal Arteries
- Upper extremities and lower extremity run-offs.
We also perform CT with 3D reconstruction of bone metal interfaces for evaluation of fracture and hardware alignment post ORIF.
All of Mid Rogue Imaging CTA studies are volume rendered on the Vital Images® Vitrea2® workstation and stored in the Infinitt PACS as color and MIP projection collages.
All of the CT examinations performed at Mid Rogue Imaging are interpreted and reported on a same day/next morning basis, with a maximum reporting delay of 24 hours, allowing for transport and delivery of offsite images to the radiologist for correlation.
